Our Process:1. Sketch out our mountains and find the measurements for each piece of wood.
2. Plane and joint the wood.
3. Cut our pieces according to the size of our sketch, then place them on another piece of wood.
4. Sand all pieces
5 .Stain all pieces
6. glue and glue border
7. Oil Finish
Challenge
The challenge I had with this project is having to bake the cuts at the right angle, at first it took a lot of practice but then I got the hang of it quickly.
Thoughts on final product
I am OK with how the project turned out, it definitely could have been better but I am proud of what we did.
What I learned:I learned to time when I do steps, so knowing how many people are in line for the saw or if someone is using the stain or making more that one cut at a time. Small things like that add up and can help or harm your timeline.
